installed flow master front to back and changed headers to hooker and now service engine light light is alwayes on mechanis says that will stop when i get a new high performace chip. by the way also change spark plugs and cables all top of the line tuneup. does the story of that i need new high performance chip sounds like the problem. oil was also changed and filter oil grade 10/30 miami fla. heat please help

p.s she does run faster and strong i baby it no leaks up to date

One way to find out for sure is to take it to your local auto parts store and get it scanned. Most places offer this service for free. If the code says its the O2 sensor (lean or rich fuel mixture ect...)....its related to the exaust and reprogramming or a new chip would most likely do the trick. If thats the case and you dont plan on doing it soon you could just remove the bulb to the check engine light (if it bothers ya). Hope this helps ya out. Good luck :)
