1998 Chevy Camaro V8 Two Wheel Drive Manual 83k miles

hello my question is that when i use my wipers they
work but when i shut them off they stop in the upward position and i manually have to put them down.it also seems like the arms have a lot of play.do you know where exactly its located and what im going to need to remove to get to it. any special info on replacing it.thanks pete

this is should be the wiper motor cover ,sometimes the multi function switch, the play is caused by worn grommets which the wiper motor bracket slides into.
