Transmission problem
1998 Chevy Camaro 6 cyl Front Wheel Drive Manual

I was able to go into reverse, first, second and third gear. But when i went from first to second a clunking or rattling noise started from under the car. It got louder when i shifted into third. I pulled over to see if something was dragging under my car, there wasnt anything. So i pressed in clutch and shifted into first gear but the car wouldnt move, the noise just got louder. I tried all other gears but the same thing happened. What should i be looking for to see what may of happned?

Little doubt but internal trans damage. Sounds like an input bearing or the lay shaft.Won't know till it is torn down.
