The automatic shift knob on the car broke and the vehicle is stuck in park. I can't find an aftermarket shift knob to work but want to know if there is a release that would allow me to shift the car into gear? Also is there a way to bypass the "shift lock" so I don't have to press the brake in order to shift the car into gear? Sorry but cash is tight and can't donate at this time.

Most likely it is stuck in gear because the shift cable is worn out and needs replacement FYI
