1998 Chevy Camaro 6 cyl Two Wheel Drive Automatic

Sometimes my car starts right up and sometimes it cranks longer than normal and giving it a little gas helps. The car can be parked for days and start right up and other times not. Hot or cold does not make a difference.

sounds like a bad fuel pressure regulator,have the fuel pressure checked,and the regulator tested,sometimes if you remove the vacuum hose from the regulator there will be fuel in the vac hose if so replace the regulator.Good Luck,Lou
