1997 Chevy Camaro Screeching noise

HI I drove my car through flooded waters last week, probally shouldnt have but the next day I noticed a screeching noise from under the hood, sounds as if its coming from my ac compressor pully, when I turn the ac on the noise goes away could this be something simple ass replacing the bearings on the compressor

Hi there, check that the bearing on the idler pulley is OK, check that the A/C clutch hub spins freely as well, check belt condition and tension.
