Remove or Disconnect
1. Accessory switch panel or switch opening cover, as equipped.
2. Inside handle bezel.
3. Window regulator handle and spacer, if equipped.
4. Outside rearview mirror bezel.
5. Side door armrest bolts/screws (90).
Important : Do not try to pull the side door trim straight off the door, or the hooks on the side door trim will break. To disengage the hooks, the side door trim must he lifted up and then pulled away from the door.
6. Front side door trim (89) from the door inner panel.
1. Pull the side door trim (89) up from the door (152), making sure that the hooks release from the holes in the door inner panel.
2. Remove the courtesy lamp socket from the side door trim (89).
Install or Connect
Caution: Make sure to disconnect the power window switch when working Inside the driver's door. When operated, the Express Down feature allows the door window to drop very quickly which could cause personal injury .
1. Front side door trim (89) to the door inner panel.
1. Route the electrical connectors through the openings in the side door trim (89), if equipped.
2. Install courtesy lamp socket to the side door trim (89).
3. Connect the radio front side door (tweeter) speaker electrical connector, if equipped.
4. Align upper edge of the side door trim (89) over the door inner panel flange and insert the hooks into the holes in the door inner panel.
5. Push downward to engage the upper edge and the hooks of the side door trim to the door inner panel.
2. Side door armrest bolts/screws (90).
Tighten
* Side door armrest bolts/screws (90) to 4.5 Nm (40 lb. in.) .
3. Outside rearview mirror bezel.
4. Window regulator handle and spacer, if equipped.
5. Inside handle bezel.
6. Accessory switch panel or switch opening cover, as equipped.
