What could be the cause for engine oil to be leaking into my coolant system?

A blown head gasket, cracked block/cylinder head can cause oil to get into the coolant. Also, are you sure it's oil and not tranny fluid. Because if your radiator has a built-in trans cooler, sometimes the internal tank cracks and tranny fluid will leak into the coolant.
