1997 Chevy Camaro 3800 series 2 engine prolems

I just put a motor in this car. Replaced upper and lower intake gaskets. and rear seals notting else. Now the motor is blowing compression out the intake so hard it blowed one of my intake lines off and it has burned up two new starters. The back of the starter gets so hot you cannot touch it then kick out.. What is wrong with my camaro guys????

Did the donor motor come out of a running vehicle? Sounds like an internal engine problem. I'd probably have to go through the engine.
