MY WIFE AND I JUST BOUGHT THIS 1996 CAMARO RS AND WE NOTICED THE FUEL GAUGE IS NOT WORKING AND WE WOULD LIKE TO KNOW IF WE HAVE TO DROP THE TANK TO CHECK THIS OUT. I AM NEW AT ALL OF THIS ELECTRONICS ON CARS

Yes it is in the tank you may be able to get to connector. If you can disconnect and ground Purple wire key on groud wire if gague goes up then sender in tank is bad . If not instrument gague or wiring .
