1995 Chevy Camaro SHIFTING

I have noticed lately that when I shift my camaro in park, it still continues to roll. I noticed that now I am having trouble when putting it in drive, it does not move. It reverses. It seems as if it is not shifting...what could be the problem. I noticed that when I put it in Drive 2 it is fine. Please advise.

Have shift cable adjusted has developed some slack between shift lever and trans.
