How do I reset the security system? I disconnected the battery to change an alternator and now the security system won't quit going off.

After market security system? Try this
Open one of the windows
Disconnect batter y negative
Turn ignition key ON
Reconnect battery



locate the valet switch under steering
Turn ignition key on and switch valet
