1995 Chevy Camaro ignition switch

i replaced the ignition switch. the car wont even try to turn over and only the security light comes on. how can i get it to start and if i have to have new key reprogrammed or scanned or whatever what can i do

You will need to take it to the dealer to have it programmed.Some mobile locksmiths have the equipment, might want to make a few calls
