1994 Chevy Camaro Grinding noise

Today when I was going to start my car it made this real loud grinding noise. This is nothing like I ever heard before. The car did not start at all and every time I tried I heard this real loud grinding noise again. This does not sound like a bad alternator at all. It is much louder than that. Any ideas what this might be?

Sounds like its coming from the starter motor, when you engage key to the starting position
