Transmission problem
1994 Chevy Camaro 6 cyl Two Wheel Drive Automatic

my car has been sitting up for a couple of months , I do drive it but not very often, the gears were shifting properly, now I have to manual shift them to change. What can I check first to find the problem?

because this trans is an electronically shifted trans, it's better to take it to a pro trasns shop and have them run codes on it. It can be bad wires/ shift valves, etc.
