Engine Performance problem
1994 Chevy Camaro 6 cyl Two Wheel Drive Automatic

Hi I have purchased a 94 camaro. It has a 3.4 Litre v6 and I would like to swap it and put in a small block 350 from a 80 camaro. My question is how much work is it going to take and what components am I going to have to change in order to make the conversion.I have heard several things such as changing wiring harness, having the get different motor mounts etc.I just figured I would ask you guys and see what your take on the subject is. Thanks alot

Engine mounts will need to be changed. The transmission will not work either. Im 99 percent sure its computer controlled so you wilkl need to use a earlier year transmission, (double check that) the wiring harness you wont have to change but you will not use most of it from the 94. The 80 engine uses very little wiring. I think as far as engine swaps go, this one wont be very difficult even if you have to change transmissions. Good luck
