1994 Chevy Camaro car performance

Sometimes when I start my car it idles horrible and and sometimes it will die. After I let it idle for 10 minutes its gets a little better but when I go to drive it and step on the gas pedal the car stutters. Sometimes when I hit the gas the car will speed up and then slow down even thou im pressing the pedal at the same rate. Do I need a fuel pump or is there anything else I should check.

do you have a check engine light on? you may wanna check and see if the fuel pressure regulator is leaking. check for vaccum lines that are disconnected
