just got the car abs inop light pops on and off. .brakes are usually good sometimes i can be slowing down and the pedal jerks and the brakes go completly out. .it has a new mastercylinder and brake booster

Start by getting the code(s) read, this will pinpoint the problem, I do suspect with a new master and booster, air may be in the abs unit.
