1992 Chevy Camaro Lose of Oil pressure

I am interested in buying a 1992 Camaro RS and the owner is telling me the 305 motor will start and run and after running for awhile the engine will lose oil pressure. What is the problem? What is the solution? And if i need to take it to a mechanic how much will it cost?

You need to determine if its the oil pump/engine bearings and the oil pressure switch by performing an actual oil pressure check using a mechanical gauge.
