1992 Chevy Camaro 6 cyl Two Wheel Drive Manual

i am changing the clutch in my camaro and as i was doing it i noticed a very small amount of fluid leaking from the cam shaft rear seal i just wanted to know if there was a way i could use hi temp gasket sealer on it or is it an actual seal

The cam plug is a core similar to a freeze plug is it the rubber seal around crank?
