Engine Mechanical problem
1991 Chevy Camaro V8 Two Wheel Drive Automatic
----------------------------------------------------------------
hi, I have a chevy 1991 camaro with a 305 tuned port fuel injection. I dont think this is the original motor. I pulled the motor during the winter to rebuild it. I replaced the rings, main bearings. crank bearings, rod bearings. I put a new cam in and went to replace the timing chain, but not sure how much slack there should be when the chain is pinched together. It seems kind of loose. Can you help me?

Replace the timing chain, if you put that much money into it already, replace the timing chain which should be done anyway.
