1990 Chevy Camaro running tempertures

It should be a 195 t-stat so the car should run around that temp give or take a few degrees. The fans wont come on til about 230, I know it seems high, but that is how it is designed. If I remember correctly both fans will come on to cool the engine, but only one when the a/c is on for airflow across the condensor. Look for debris plugging up the radiator and bags in the nose of the car, they are like vacuum cleaners for the road.
