1990 Chevy Camaro V8 Two Wheel Drive Manual

when the A/C Clutch kicks on, .. you experience a 200 rpm dip when the clutch comes on...even when heater is on. Causes enigine to idle too low. Can you disconnect the a/c clutch wire conection for the winter so that the clutch wont engage when the heater is on? Transmission is auto not manual.

You can disconnect it, but your defroster won't work as well. The AC is used to help dehumidify the air. Thus, it clears the windshield faster.
