1989 Chevy Camaro Ignition switch

I have an 89 Camaro with the security ign switch. I need to change it out, do I have to put another of the security switches in or will any switch do the trick?

It needs to be replaced with one of the same type or the computer won't recognize it and the car will run for a few seconds and shut down.
