I've had this car for several months now and it's always ran great, minus a faulty battery cable that I had to replace right after I got it. Last month, it started acting really weird, I'm not sure how to explain it. The car runs great, then after I travel about 3-5 miles the Service Engine light comes on. Another 5 miles after that and the car will just die at a stop light/sign while idling.

After it dies, I can usually get it started again, but it takes a while and runs rough until I let it sit for about 15 minutes. But a couple of times it would die and just not turn over at all, until I let it sit for 20 minutes or so. I've been told that it just needs a tune-up, someone told me to replace the O2 sensor, someone else just said to get a new fuel pump.

I'm a college student, I don't have $10,000 to blow "trying" to fix my car.
