Im having trouble starting my car..i think it might have to do with the starting relay switch..not sure though

Welcome to the forum. If the starter won't crank, make sure the battery has a full charge and the connections are good. Did you try cranking in neutral? The purple wire at the starter solenoid should go hot with the key in the crank position. Some of the national brand autostores will check the starter. You have to take it off and take it to them.
