Let me see the fuse is good I scaned the ecm and got code 54 if that means the reley is bad i changed it or where the book says it is and still same problem it has tpi system

Do you hear the fuel pump for a few secs?

Fuse and relay is in good shape-now we check fuel pressure to rule out the fuel filter/regulator/fuel pump if all is well check for injection pulses meaning injectors are opening and closing providing fuel to all cylinders.

I bypassed the the wires and it runs but it gets a lot of carbon in the exhaust i think the regulator is working. The car was working 3 days ago so where is the relay for the fuel pump? i have a haynes 82-92 manual its not to helpfull
