ii just replaced my power steering pump do i need to bleed the system

Hi there,
The pump will self bleed. just run for a few seconds and shut off. check and add extra fluid if low. run and slowly turn steering lock to lock, shut of and re check level, add if required, test again if OK let sit overnight and re check this will allow and aerated fluid to settle .
