Engine Performance problem

Hi I just bought an 84' Chevy Camaro 4 days ago the last owner had redone the engine and the enterior of the car. I've had it 4 days now and it keeps over heating!!! I've taken it to my mechanic 2 times now and they CANNOT find anything wrong with it other then they put a new radiator cap on! This car is beautiful and so is the engine but why is it overheating!? plleeaasee help me!
