1983 Chevy Camaro Car bogs out when i get on it

1983 Chevy Camaro Two Wheel Drive Automatic 118245 miles

My 83 Berlinetta Camaro has been having Carb problems i think? It is fine at idle and when i drive normal..lol but when i get on it it seems like the secondary's dont open? the car bogs out real bad when i get on it. i have replaced the fuel filter and pump. neither of which fixed the problem. could there be an internal problem with the carb? it is a stock 305 with a Rochester carb.. hope this is enough info..

it's probably time for a carb rebuild. The quadrajet was a good carb, but there are a few things wrong with it. But nothing that can't be fixed. Your accelerator pump in the carb is probably shot or on it's way.
