Engine Performance problem
1981 Chevy Camaro V8 Two Wheel Drive Automatic 0

I just rebuilt this engine upon start up I run 60 psi at idle 1200rpm and up to 90 psi with increase in rpm. I have not revved the engine over 3500 yet. is this pressure to high, it has all new internal parts high compression, moderate lift cam , speed pro hv oil pump sump is 3/8 of inch off oil pan bottom tack welded the pick up tube

The motor has run for less than 1 hour up to this point.

thanks

It shouldn't be problem. If it starts going over 100PSI then I would start questioning the pressure bypass on the pump.
