Transmission problem
1980 Chevy Camaro Two Wheel Drive Automatic
----------------------------------------------------------------
I have a second generation Camaro that I bought from a guy who did a lot of jerry rigging to it. He found it in a field and it had no engine or drive train. He put in a 305 v8 and auto transmission from a 78 caprice classic. The transmission needs to be replaced and I have a turbo 350 I got from a guy who rebuilt it. He said it was from an old camper. I am afraid it may not mesh perfectly with my car. Can I remove the bell housing from the caprice trany and put it on the turbo and the rear tail shaft also if they don't fit?
