I bought a new intake for a 4bbl carb to replace the 2 bbl thats on there, my buddy says i should've bought a intake manfiold without the egr valve, but does it matter? can't you just not hook it up? any help is appreciated thanks

although your buddy is right , you can probably find a block off plate to cover egr valve port in intake . performance might be less , but you probaly wont notice differance , if you put egr valve back on you can leave it unhooked , but this might be violation of your states pollution laws .
