1972 Chevy Camaro engine backfires at start up

New motor 350 creat motor came w/all intenal part from speed shop. New carb only has 2 vac, lines, adv, to upper part of card and 1 to lower part of carb.
CXhecked spark plug wires fire order from left to right. Cyls. 2, 4, 6, 8, 1, 3, 5, 7 them I check plug wires to cap. Starting left to right is correct. HELP

Is your question. Car backfires when cold? Does it run ok when warm? If it does then you need to put a choke on the carb for the cold starts, your getting a lean backfire.
