when i bought the car the plug(blue) was not plugged in, so i decided to plug it in to the(yellow) thing, the brake lights all worked fine before and after plugging it in, i really just want to know where that plug(blue) goes and what it is for. i have a turbo350 lock-up tranny, 350cid and drum brakes[img:9849833367]http://www.2carpros.com/forum/automotive_pictures/513659_camaro_mstrcylndr_1.jpg[/img:9849833367]

that thing that you are talking about is the brake centering valve. When you have a failure on the front or rear brakes, the valve moves and grounds out the sensor causing your brake light on the dash to activate. Just like when you put the parking brake on. One thing, unless someone has put in a 350 lockup in your car it didn't come with that. this will also be called your proportioning valve which is all one unit.
