A COUPLE OF QUESTIONS

when you turn your key to run do all of the buttons on the 4x4 switch light up and then a quick red one light ??

you replaced the encoder motor on the transfercase?? if so did you try and disengage the 4x4 manually on the transfer case ? and is the motor seated properly

is the light still on ??

last when you turn the key listen towards the passenger side and see if you hear two clicks from the floor area

what gear is it stuck in ?
how is the transmission acting , is it shifting fast or slow??

thansk

To the first question- yes the 4wd light all light up upon start and one red.

The transfer case turns easily and the motor seated fine.
4wd service light is still on and 4wd light is still on also.
Yes I have the clicking -Replaced control module last night- another garage thought it might be that. Still nothing.
Transmission is acting normally. Shifting as it always has.
We are down to a possible broken wire or bad switch.

Husband is a mechanic-- but I think everyone is stumped on this one..

Had blazer on scanner code was CO323 something like transfer case lock circuit low voltage
