I have a 1987 Chevy Blazer, Automatic with a V6, 2.8 liter engine. The front drivers side seat belt although it will engage and lock in place, it will not extract to a snug fit! So I do not feel secure cause the belt is basicly loose. Now my question is can this be repaired or is it better to just get a new replacement seat belt? Thanks Joe

Better to replace it, than to be sorry. They can be very fiddley to fix, especially that old.
