Just quit???

I was driving down the road yesterday when the whole engine shut off. I got over to the side of the road thinking that I would just need to put it back in park and start it again I tried to start it and just turned over not even trying to start at all???

Hey, I was just wondering if you figured out what went wrong. Same thing happened to me. What year is yours?
