2005 Chevy Blazer Crankshaft sensor

A few months ago my tachometer started to jump when I was accelerating, normally it was during highway acceleration a slow acceleration wouldn't do it. I hooked up a computer to the car to read the code and it said my crankshaft position sensor was bad, so I replaced it. Well after a few months it has started doing it again, and I get the same error code. So I think there has to be something else causing this as well, someone said they thought it could be a transmission speed sensor. But they are a novice at car repair as well, I do kind of believe it though because the tachometer normally jumps at the same time as my transmission is shifting between gears. Is there a way I can narrow it down to a component?

Check the wiring to the CKP (crank sensor) ...the CKP will have no relation to the TACH fault ...It could well be the VSS (vehicle speed sensor) located on the trans ... check the wiring or replace VSS .. It could also be the transmission is starting to slip and needs to be checked at a transmision shop ?
