Transmission problem
2002 Chevy Blazer 6 cyl Four Wheel Drive Automatic 125k miles
When I shift from park to drive on the steering column it shows in reverse or some other gear. But it is actually in drive because when I drive forward it then corrects its self. Or if when I come to a stop I put the car into park (actually in Park) it shows as in reverse and the automatict door locks do not release, so I have to shut the engine off and then turn the key 2 clicks and the locks release and the car show that it is in park.
My question is: is this a transmission problem? Because when I am driving it changes through the gears no problem or is an ignition issue?
