When you first start the engine, the engine idles between 300-500 RPM and very rough. The engine wants to stall when you slow down at a stop sign, you need to keep your foot on the gas to keep it running. After the engine gets up to running temp, the idle speed is a steady 500 RPMs in gear and idles fine.

Clean out the idle air control valve and the EGR valve, also test the throttle position sensor and the manifold absolute pressure sensor-also the mass airflow sensor with an approved electronic cleaner-let me know
