2002 Chevy Blazer 6 cyl Four Wheel Drive Automatic

we replaced fuel pump and filter under the frame it acts like its starving for gas wont run until we prime the carb what else could it be is there more than 1 filter

there may be one inside the fuel pressure regulator and inside each fuel injector!
