I have a 2002 chevy blazer. Start the vehicle and it idles fine. Attemt to accelerate, whether in park or in drive, the engine starts to sputter and eventually will backfire if the accelerator is depressed further. Back off the gas and it idles fine. I have replaced the air filter and the fuel filter. The fuel pump was replaced a month ago. It sounds as though the engine is getting too much gas when the accelerator is depressed, as though the sensors for "fuel /air" mixture are messed up. Anyway, where do I look next?
