ABOUT 3 M,ONTHS AGO VEHICLE WOULDN'T START NO FUEL PUMP RUNNING NEXT DAY CAR STARTED NO PROBLEMS UNTIL LATELY OVE THE PAST WEEK END CAR HARD TO START 2 MORNINGS IN A ROW FINALLY STARTED DROVE CAR HOME ABOUT 3HOURS NO PROBLEM 2 DAYS LATER IN EVENING WILL NOT START NO FUEL PUMP RUNNING VERY NEXT MORNING CAR SRARTED 1ST TURN OF KEY HAD PROBLEM WHEN FIRST BOUGHT CAR WITH KEYLESS REMOTE NOT WORKING GM DEALER SAID RMOTES FINE PROBABLY N POWER CONTROL BODY MODULE THIS ALSO CONTROLS SECURITY SYSTEM DO YOU THINK IS IT IN FUEL PUMP OR IN THE POWER CONTROL MODULE

Danny,
The only way to be sure is to check for power to the fuel pump when it won't start. If the pump is getting power and doesn't work, that is the problem. However, if it doesn't get power and there is no power to the relay, you may have a problem with the security system. There are sensors in the steering column and one in the key. If they don't recognize each other, the car won't run. In addition to the fuel pump shut down, you will loose spark too. As far as the BCM, it's possible but a stretch.
