2001 Chevy Blazer Heater

On my blazer the heater wasn't putting out heat. Then yesterday the heater started working and now the engine light came on. What could it be?

This is an easy one to figure out. If the light is on, take it to a nationally recognized parts store and have them scan the computer for trouble codes. Let me know what they find.
