2001 Chevy Blazer fuel pump won't start

I installed new fuel pump. I can hear it run I have gas to the injectors at least i can bleed it at the schrader valve. The motor fires with ether but does nothing but crank with out it. I am going to check the pressure at the schrader . Any other hints or help is greatly appreciated. Thank you Eric

Check the fuel pressure and injection pulses from the injectors to include testing the fuel pump relay
