My 2001 Chev. Blazer is running hot when I am driving it, but when I turn the heater on the temp. goes back to normal. I replaced the thermastat and the fluids are OK.

Make sure the inside of the radiator is clean and that the fan clutch is working. The cooling fan should be moving a good amount of air.
