My car started and drove OK for about one minute. It then acted like it was going to stall and would not pick up speed when I tried to accelerate, then I would get a sudden surge of power and it drove properly and almost immediately became really sluggish again. It finally stalled and I could start it but it stalled again every time I put it into drive. After a few minutes I got it to stay started and was able to drive home but could not get it to go over about 10-15 mph and it started making loud popping noises that sounded like it was coming from under my feet. Any ideas?

Yikes! Have the fuel pressure tested, preferably when it's sluggish, and have the PCM scanned for codes. Let me knw what you find out.
