brake light not working

I have check all fuses with ohm meter and all 4 bulbs work for tail lights and blinker. The 3rd brake light works. The blinkers work, both bulbs on each side. I checked another 2001 and upper and middle bulb should turn on for blinker and brake.

Did you check the fuse circuit? Vehicle stop fuse, 15 amp. That circuit should go hot when you step on the brake. The high mount and lower brake lites use separate fuses, the feed for both come from the brake switch.

You may have to check for B+ and ground at the brake circuit at the rear.
