2001 Chevy Blazer Four Wheel Drive Automatic 91675 miles

I have a 2001 chevy blazer that started stalling on me. The first time it was after I drove it 30 miles and came to a stop sign and it stalled. After a few minutes it started and I was able to get it to work. The next time was after 3 miles and it died, however I was again able to start it. The next time it died after running several errands in town and after stopping at a stop sign, it died again and I had to have it towed. That was all in 24 hours. I took it out to my repair shop and they ran it for 8 hours and could not get it to stall at all. They had it hooked up to a fuel pressure gauge and it never fell below 50 or close. They verified that it primed everytime they started and stopped it.
I just bought it from a dealer who had no idea it had any such related problems (which I take with a grain of salt). I have only been in possession of the car for 2 weeks, of which I didn't drive it one week.

I'm sure the shop tried to read codes? Was the service engine soon light on? There should be freeze frame data in the computer, this will tell you if a sensor or control module was at fault during the failure! Find out if this was done?

I'm not sure if the codes were read or not. I assumed they would have been. I can go to an Auto Zone and have it done though, correct?

The service engine light hasn't come on. The battery light comes on after it dies. I didn't mention that to the shop because I thought that was a default kind of thing.

Although Autozone will read codes, I don't know if they do it when the light is off, so play micky the dunce and say it must have just gone out! Then ask about the freeze frame data.

Autzone said there were no codes and he looked lost when I said I wanted the freeze frame data.

I did notice yesterday when I drove home from work that the gauges (oil and gas) fluctuate when I'm idling.

Does it stall only at idle? If so have the IAC(idle air control) and MAF(Mass Air Flow) sensors checked. The MAF cAN CAUSE IT ANYTIME, iac USUALLY CAUSES IT DURING IDLING.

It stalls when I come to a stop, or when I am stopping. I'm not sure if that's considered idling or not.

That will be the idle air control valve, it;s bolted to the throttle body, can also be a stuck erg valve!
